Fast forward 1400 years and travel is now very common. There are many ways of going from one place to another. Travel by cars and other vehicles is something almost every person living in an urban area often experiences. For people who travel across countries or even continents, trains and airplanes are the most common means of transport.

However, traveling is still exceedingly dangerous. Accidents are the most common danger of travel. While many millions of people travel every day and only a small percentage of them face accidents, the reality is that accidents are quite common. Additionally, in countries with inadequate policing systems, criminals looking to steal from travelers at gunpoint or otherwise is common.
